CURRICULUM VITAE
Dr. med. dent. Darko Slovša,
Darko Slovsa was born 10.02.1972. in Zagreb.
He attended primary and secondary medical school in Zagreb.
After military service he went to live in Berlin. From 1991 to 1993 worked as a medical technician in Berlin.
At the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Berlin (Benjamin Franklin) he entered in 1993, where he graduated 27th January 1999.
In June 2011 he establishes his own dental clinic “Smile” , as a leading implantologist and oral surgeon.
From September 2007 till February 2011 he worked as a Chief of Surgery at the dental clinic Rident in Rijeka.
From October 2006 till October 2007 worked as an oral surgeon at dr. Gressmanna in Neudrossenfeldu – Bayern
From March 2006 till September 2006 worked as an oral surgeon at dr. Kruzic in Stuttgartu
From June 2002 till March 2006 - specialization in oral surgery at the clinic for jaw surgery, facial surgery and plastic surgery in Stuttgart Katharinen hospital , after which he works as oral surgeon at the same hospital till March 2006
From October 2000 till June 2002 worked as a dental assistant at the clinic for maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, surgery and facial plastic surgery in Katharinen hospital in Stuttgart
From September 1999 till October 2000 worked at the hospital “Paulinen Hilfe“ in Stuttgart
From March 1999 till September 1999 worked as a dental assistant in Stuttgart at dr. Kruzic
Feb/2006 completed doctoral work, which lasted 3 years with a grade of "magna cum laude" on the topic: cell - biological research for functioning of the bioactive laser on human gingiva fibroblasts
He had passed the State Exam in September/2007 in Zagreb.
2008 : Recognition of specialization in oral surgery in Croatia
May2009 : obtained the title "Specialist in Implantology - DGZI»
1. Additional education:
- PhD thesis on the topic of laser therapy 2002-2005 and obtained title Dr.med.dent. (doctor in dental medicine) in January 2006 with summa cum laude grade
- October 2003 obtained A diploma from the European Academy of Acupuncture (duration of 2 years of education)
- October 2004 specialization for the treatment of chronic pain (duration 1.5 year)
- variety of training in dentistry and oral surgery such as implantology, augmentation (upgrades bone), microsurgery, aesthetic skin, etc.
- Training for Newton Dental CT and I-CAT 3 D Kawo Exam and handling with Kodak Dental Iluma CT
- member of BOC (association of oral surgeons in Germany), DGI (German Association of Implantology), DGZI (German Association for dental Implantology), DAIST (German Academy for interdisciplinary pain therapy), DAAAM (German Academy of Acupuncture and auricular medicine).
- focus is on the techniques of grafting surgery (BONE MANAGEMENT) and treatment periimplantitis.
