• Graduate of School of Medicine in Rijeka.
• Residency in general surgery at Clinical Hospital Center in Rijeka.
• Residency in plastic surgery at Clinical Hospital Center Rebro in Zagreb
Professional experience
• 1982-1983: fellowship in plastic surgery at the University Clinical Center in Ljubljana under supervision with dr. Marko Godina.
• 1987-1988: fellowship in plastic surgery, hand surgery and microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky, USA, with dr. Harold Kleinert and his associates.
• 1992: sub- specialization (fellowship) in plastic and aesthetic surgery in various clinical centers throughout the United States, as the winner of "Dr. Marko Godina Scholarship".
• 1993-2001: Head of Department of Plastic and Reconstruction Surgery of Clinical Hospital Center in Rijeka.
• 1989-2004: Private practice at Clinic Tagora in Čavle (plastic and aesthetic surgery).
• 2004-now: Private practice at Clinic Zambelli in Rijeka.
